Luther Laflin Mills, thj minent criminal lawyer, of Chicago, who spoke on "Lessons from Lincoln's life," at University hall last Friday evening, was greeted with a large and appreciative audienoe in spite of the numerous otbei attractiins. Mr. Mills in the couise of bis leoture, paid an eloquent tribute to the martyred president and was freqnently applanded. Several inembers of the legislativa oommittee, who were visiting the university, were atnong the audience.
