Stock Yards Investigation

St. I-.OUÍS, Feb. 23. - The committee appointed hy the Missouri legislature to Investígate the stock yards of the state carne here and began with a visit to the Union Stock Yards. The purpose of the committee is to ascertain what abuses nia exist in stock yards management in Missouri and in the commisslon merchant system whioh is attached to all the yards with a view to regulating the hu ;!'"ss by law.
