"No Better Hotel in Ann Arbor, at any Price," Is the motto which the landlord of the new 9t. James' hotel, Ann Arbor, has placed upon his business cards, and froru all appearances he in ends to live np to and mako that principie known far and wide. He bas established rates tbat with the acocmmodations furnished, oan hardly be eqnaled and certainly not exoelled. A rate of $1 to $1.50 a day, with jueals at 25 cents each and that in a newly foruishfid and thoroughly renovated hotel, provided with brass beds, steain heat, baths and telephone connectioDS, is not often met with and the pnblic are not slow to take advantage of the advantages offered. Since the establishment of these rates some three weeks ago, the register of the hotel bas shown a gradnally increasing list of patrons, and with the service reudered there is no danger but that it will increase.
