Only Citizens Can Perform Marriage

Jefferson City, Mo„ Feb. 23.- The lfegislature passed a law which prohibits any person from solemnizing marriages vho is not a citizen of the United States. No ioreign bishop or priest can legally perform the márriage ceremony in Missouri untll they become citizens of the United States.
