Death Of John Slatford

John Slatford, au old and well known resident of Aun Albor town, died at nis bome two miles west of the city, on Mouday, aged 79 years, 5 mouths and 1 day. He was bom in Trowbridge, England, in 181? and carne to Aon Arbor in 1832. He has been a resident of Ann Arbor city and towu for over 64 years, aDd bas lied on the same farm for over 61 years. The funeral serviues were held at the house yesterday aftemoon, Rev. T. W. ïoung, pastor of the First Baptist church, Ann Arbor, offloiating. The remains were iuterred in the farnily burial lot in Forest Hill eemetery. He leaves no family.
