George Collier, of Birkett, is seriousfy with pneumonĂ­a. The Dexter milis are silent because of high water and a broken shaft. Milton Hall, who has been with Field's Minstrels t'or the past year, is home tor a short visit. Chas. Stebbins, L. L. James and Eev. J. Staley spent part of the week at Base Lake camping and flshing. Mrs. John Joys, who has f'or many years conducted a bakery in this viilage, intends moving to South Lyon. 2sext week Friday night the L. O. T. M., of Orystalline Hive, who use the I. O. O. F. hall tree of rent, will tender the members of Huron Lodge, I. O. O. F-, a banquet, which will be preceded by a musical and litera'ry program.
