Albany, N. Y.. March 9.- The resolution of the joint committee on trusts, which held sessions in New York city last month, as submitted to the legislature Tuesday, notes the fact that a decisión of Judge Swayne on the federal ronstitution forbids aetion on the part of an individual state to absolutely repress trusts, but the committee express the belief that the attorney general can, by bringing aetion before a supreme court judge, in some respects remedy existing evils. A bilí which accompanies the report grants immunity for witnesses who incrimínate themselves and gives the supreme court subpoen'a power. State Senator McCarren flled a minority report, exonerating the sugar trust and Baying that the trust has made possible lower prices for the commodity.
