Miss Agües P. Mahony of New York was recently appointed apothecary at the Mauhattan State hospital, onWard's islaud. Miss Mahouy graduated sorue years ago from the training school for nurses ou Blackwell's island. Afterward she studied medicine and was for several years in the medical ward of St. John 's guild, on Staten Island. Sho then entered the New York College of Pliarniacy and won a prize of $100 for scholarship. She was the ouly womaa in a class of 180. A Living ltecord.
