Break At Laconia Circle

Memphis. Term., Mareh 30.- A special dispatch to a cotton flrm in this city from Captain Mark Cheek of the steamer Kate Adams reports a break in the levee on the Arkansas side at Laconia Circle. I,aeonia Circie is about 170 miles below Memphis and the levee at that point protects some of the best plantations in the state.
