De Lome Admits Cuba Is Lost

Washington, March 30.- Minister Dupuy de Lome has admitted to more than one person that the Cuban situation had narrowed down to where Spain was simply waiting for an opportunity to drop Cuba gracefully and with as little sacrifice to pride as .possible. The minister admits the cause is lost and that the official administration of the island was honeycombed with eithe rascality or incapacity.
