The seniora will have a party at Uranger's acaderuy thia eveniug. G. H. Perbert, F. W. Henningei aud B. M. Carr will be the coaches of uext year's 'Varsity football team. J. K. Marsden was elected president of the Students' Christiau Associatio at the meeting held Wednesday evening. Prof. J. C. Knowlton presided at tbe anunal banqnet of tbe Zeta Psi frateruity held at the Rnssell house, Detroit last Friday evening. Omar Neff, the law student arrested sorue time ago on a charge of embezzlement and taken to Indiana on requisition, was acqoitted Tuesday in the Blkhart circuit court. Prof. E. D. Campbell recently read a papei on the coustructiou of steel, at Chioago. As a result of it he has jast received an iuvitation to read a paper on the subject hefore the Iron and Steel Institute, of Great Britain. He has not yet accepted. Rev. W. D. JVIackenzie, professor of theology in the Chicago Theological Seminary, will deliver the annnal address before the Stud3nts' Christian Association d üniversity hall next Snnday evening. His subject will be "Cbristianity and Habit." Prof. George Hemplhas received and accepted an iuvitation to teach as a specialisti in Anglo-Saxon in the great snmnier school held annually by Chioago üniversity. Prof. Hempl has made himself one of the most noted scholars of the country ia bis special stndies along the line of Anglo-Sason i and "Spoken Bnglish." :
