Third Ward Recount
The common cooncil met at 2 o'olock yesterday afternoon as a board of cauvassers and prooeeded at once to business. In the matter of the reooant asked for by Aid. Jacob Laubengayer, Aid. Brown was appointed by him as bis representative on the committee of three, Aid. Dell aoted for George W. Sweet, and Aid. Shadford was appointed by the conncil. The attorney for Mr. Laubengayer was E. B. Norris and O. E. Butterfield for Mr. Sweet. The result was tbat Mr. Sweet's rnajority of 4 was rednced to 3 and he was declared elected. The board of canvassers declared Onas. E Hiecrok elected mayor, Gottlob Lniok president, Glen V. Mills city clerk, Patrick O'Hearn assessor, John L. Dnffy justice of the peace F. M. Hamilton, John Koch, George W. Sweet, Frank Vandawarker, George Spathelf, jr., Ernmett Coon and C. H. Cady electeoV' as members of the nnnnnil
