Bom, to Mr. aud Mrs. H. G. Pipp, Jast Monday, a son. Omar Moore, of Dexter, will take charge of the Hub after May 1. W. E. Howe has sold his grocery stock to a gentleman natned Lockwood, from Howell. Will Stiegelmaiér will open np, a first class grooery in the Mathews blook, on W. Huron st., next Monday. Emil Golz has moved to bis new home on S. Main st. , formerly the Sorg building, and will remove, h:s stock of goods there May 1. A blaze in the Utopia millinery about7:15 last evening deatroyed a quantity of fine millinery goods. It was promptly extingnished by the fire department. The ale of Ed. Seyler's house on Thompson st. , to Dr. E. D. Brooks, recently mentioned in the Argus, feil tbrougb, and the doctor has now purchased Arthur Brown's house on N. Thayer st., tnruing in his property at Plushing in pait payment. Drs. V. C. Vaugban, F. G. Novy and George Doek will spend tbe soinmer in Europe pursuing special lines of work at some one of the great nniversities on the Continent, and together they will attend the International Health Oongress at Moscow. A fair sized audienco gathered in üniversity hall Sunday nigbt to listen to the annual address given under the auspices of tbe S. G. A., by Eev. W. D. Mackenzie, of Chicago, on the subject of "Chrisiananity and habifc." The address given by the speaker was one of interest aud bronght out many new phases of the question. The forraation and breaking up of habits were treated ■ at considerable length. The meeting was a deoided sncoess.
