St. Luke's Church, Ypsilanti

The annual parish meeting of St. Luke's cnurcb, ïpsilanti, was held Monday evening at the parish house. The following gentlemen were elected vestrymen for the ensaing year : D. L. Quirk, Sam'l Post, Chas. E. King, M. M. Read, Robt. Hemphill, D. P. Sullivan, Dr. Eugeue Sinith, John Wortley, H. M. Curtís, A. A. VanCleve. The vestrymen thon organized and elected the followiug officers: Senior warden, Sain'l Post; junior warden, M. M. Read; seoretary, Chas. E. King ; treasurer, .T. H. Wortley. The ohuroh decided to continue the pledge system for anotber year. This was the first meeting under the new canon law, whioh pertnits women to %'ote, and a nnmber aailed themselves of the sufffage extended.
