Jailer Fatally Wounded

Kansas City, April 20. - Burglar Frank Conners and Highwayman Ben Johnson, desperate crimináis, seriously and perhaps fatally wounded Jailer Charles Faye at the Wyandotte county jail at Kansas City, Kan., Tuesday morning in attempting an escape. Both men were armecl wilh revolvers, iaye managed to fling his keys through a window into the jailyard before the prisoners could secure them, and other officials carne to the jailer's rescue.
