After the annual meeting the vestry organized by the election of Dr. A. C. Nichols, secretary, and Henry W. Douglas, treasurer. The entire amount given on Easter Day at St. Andrew's church was as follows: By the congregation $173, by the rector $300, by the vestry $136, making a total of $608. This enabled the treasurer to settle up all the outstanding indebtedness of the parish and allows it to start out on its new fiscal year as it has done for 11 years past, without a dollar of debt against it. It is a record few churches can boasfc of, and those who have by their generosity enabled such a state of affairs to come about, deserve the warmest thanks of the congregation for it.
