Decoration Day services will be ob served here May 31. Clarence Wisdom is teaching schoo in Dushville, Isabella county. John bteidle is moving into his new house on County st. this week. Mrs. F. A. Blinn returned to he home in Clayton, Mieh., Friday. Mrs. T. Barnes and son returnec Tuesday from their Quincy visit. Miss Fannie Day, of Ypsilanti, visit ed her brothers the last of the week. Mrs. Foster returned the last of the week from her Fennsylvania sojourn VVm. Needham is putting a 24x15 feet addition on his house on County st. Rev. Mr. ArmstroDg, of Monroe was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. C Rouse Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Culver, of Britton have moved into Mrs. Blakeslee's hause on Main st. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Culver and family of Britton, have moved into the Drap er house on Hurd st. Chas. Woolcott, of Ann Arbor, was the guest of his mother Mrs. Woolcott of County st., Wednesday. Amos Taylor has purchased a fine lot of Chas. Pullen on Wabash st., anc will erect a fineresidence this summer Mrs. Allison and children, of Farm ington, are the guests of Editor and Mrs. A. B. Sniith and Mr. and Mr. A E. Putman. Miss Tuttle spent Saturday and Sun day with her peopie in Ypsilanti, re turning to Ler school duties in Milan Monday morning. Mrs. Joseph Gauntlett, who has been seriously ill, is now on the convales cent list greatly to the joy of her many friends. Died at her home on Wabash st., o: heart failure. April 28, Mrs. Isaac Wil son. The remains were taken to Lon don for interrment. A number of the Milan poople at tended the meeting of the Washtenaw County Baptist Association at Saline Wednesday and yesterday. J. William Macy will give one of his fine entertainments at the Milan opera house this evening, under the auspices of the H. S. L. A. Mr. Macy is one o New York's favorite lecturers.
