Episcopal Convocation

The Aun Arbor oonvocation oí me Episcopal church met in St. Lnke's churob, Ypsilauti, nn Thursday of last week with tbe following clergymen present: Rev. Hemy Tatlook, deán, of Ann Arfaor; Rev. R. B. Balcom, of Jackson ; Rev. Mr. Blatohford, of 1 camseh ; Rev. Mr. Stonex, of Dexter ; I Rev. Mr. Chestnutt, of Henrietta; Rev. Henry P. Horton, of Ann Arbor; Rev. Wm. Gardam, of Ypsilanti, and Rev. Mr. Ewing. The meeting opened in the ruoraing witb tbe oelebration of the Holy Oommunion. At 2:30 p. m. Rev. Mr. Chestnutt read a paper on "The relation of parishes to the clergy" and the topic was takeu up and fully discussed by the clergy. Some further business veas then transacted after whioh the olergy adjourned and met in the parish house with the Ladies' Auxiliary which was in session. At 7 :30 p. ra., an open missionary meeting was held in the church and addresses were delivered by Rev. R. B. Balcom and Rev. Henry Tatlock. Mneio was rendered by the full ohoir. At the close of the services the clergy and friends adjourued to the parish house wbere a little eutertainmfint was provided for the choir by the ladies of the Choir Chapter and a social half hour was spent.
