ítadolph Kurfess of this place has opened a barber shop at Grass Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Nisle went to Hillsdale last Tnesday to attend tbe funeral of George ítiehm. A nnmberof tbe ladies of tbe Eastern Star chapter went to Tecurnseh last Friday, and next Friday eveniug tbe ladies from here give a banqnet and tbe Chelsea chapter. G. H. Ford who had a photograpb gallery here the past two years has all bis goods packed and will leave for Browneon, where Mrs. Ford's parents live. From tbere tbey will go sonth.
