Everybody will be welcorue at the cerernouy of tbe laying of the corner stone of tbe new St. Thomas' Catholic church next Sunday afternocn at 3 o'clock by Rt. Rev. Bishop Radeniacber. If tbe weather is fine it will be one cf the most brilliant ceremonials that has been seen in Anu Arbor in many a day Besides Bishop Rademacher a large number of clergy from different paits of Michigan will be present, inoluding a large delegation from Detroit, öeveral Catholio societies have also been extended iuvitatious to be present and some of them have acoepted. Excursión trains will be run from Tolsdo and Detroit and a large nurnber of people will avail thernseJves of the chance to visit Anu Arbor. Among other things that will be placed in the corner stone will be the uames of Pope Leo XIII, Archbishop Eider, of Ciucinnati, Bishop Foley, of the diooese of Detroit, E. D. Kelly, pastor of St. Thomas church. President MciKuley, Governor Pingree Mayor Hiscock, the names of the building oommittee of St. Thomas church, Spins & Rohns, the arobitects, and Koch Bros., the contracftors.
