Washington, June 1. - Picked chessplayers of the house of representativas and the British house of commons, the one party in this city and the other in London, began yesterday an international chess match by cable. Before play began Speaker Reed and Speaker Gully, of the respective legislativa bodies, exchanged telegrams of amity and good will. The flrst winner was Plunkett, an English player.
