Inspector Receives Bough Treatment

Washington, June 1.- The secretary of the treasury has received a telegram from Special Inspector Hampton at Fort Tanderdale, Fia., stating that ha V: arded the steamer Biscayne of New ïtiver Inlet at 5 o'clock Monday morning while she was transferring arms, ammurition and coal to the Dauntless and that ha was knocked down, disarmed and driven off. This telegram was referred to the attorney general for such action as the gravity of the occurrence may warrant.
