Gov. Pingree In Ann Arbor

Suttun paid a flying visit to Ann Arbor Tuesday afternoon for the purpose of keeping traok of matters in counection with the Merriam bill, which the governor has referred to the law faculty with the request that they express their opinión as to its constitutiouality. The governor thinks the plan of referriüg legal qnestions to the law piofessors a good one, and says that he will give tnem a chance to do more good service in this direction. Mr. Pingree ran across some of the regents, who showed biin around the campus in an informal manner.
