The eleventh annnal June Festival of St. Thomas' Conservatory of Musio will be held at the Graad Opera house, ou Wednesday and Thursday eveniugs of next week. The preparations for it have beeu made on a more elabórate scale than ever befoie and the entertaiurnents will conseqnently snrpass any tbat have preceded it. In past festivals there has beeu a tedious wait between acts. This year those intervals will be filled in with music by an orchestra which has been engaged for the occasion. Ia the musical uumbers on the prcgrain flve pianos will be used and the excellent Banjo, Guitar and Mandolín Club connected with the sohool will also render selectious each eveniug. The scenio effeots in former years have been of the highest order of merit and this year new effects have been added which will entirely surpass those that have gone before. Mr. Davis, of Whiney's opera house, Detroit, who so skillfully mauaged the stage last year, will again have imrnediate control of this important feature. Tbe proceeds of the festival will be turned into the building fund of the beautif nl new Catholic church now being erected on N. State st. Tickets, which are only 50 cents, are now on sale at the U. S. Express office, where all seats reservad without extra charge.
