- to general ' orders No. f, rélative to the coming M. N. G. encampment at Island Jake the commanding offioer of the First brigade win have charge of the camp, which commences, Ang. 11 and lasts flve days. The First brigade coinpanies are ordered to move from their home stations on Ang. 10, retnrning on Aug. 16. The preliminaries are mapped out in this order. There is evideutly to be no nnnecessary display of gold laoe, as troops are ordered to report in fatigue uniform, and officers are instructed not to bring dress nniforms to camp. No accommodatons will be fnrnished for ladies. Officers' families and ladies are not expected to be in camp, except as visitors, dnring honrs when visitors are allowed inside the lines.
