Musical Festival At Albion
Albion, MIch., June 8. - The musical festival began Monday before a large and enthusiastic audience. A bulletin bad been issued by the management requesting that all wuinen remove their hats and that there be no tardiness, whispering, or rustling of fans or programmes. As a result everythlng went Gff without a hitch. The chureh was decorated with the festival eolors, crimson and yellow, and with ferns and palms. Mr. McKinley, the tenor, wa? enthuslastically encored. His rer.dition of Gluck's"OurHearts in Childhood's Hour Intertwining" and Beethoven's "Adelaide" called fcrth hearty applause. Nor did Mr. McKinley reueive the only honors. His wife, who played his accompaniment, was on the programme for a piano solo. She played Rubenstein'a "Etude" in C major and was heartily encored ■
