The Misses Saunders aud Carnpiou, of this city, came uear losing their ives at Whitmore Lake Snnda;v by the capsizicg of a sail boat. Two Toledo uien, giving the names of Win. Frankfoit aud Frank Smith took the girls out for a sail. The boat became unuanageable aud capsized, throwing its oooupauts iuto the water. Herman 3ucholz and John Stauke, of Ann Arbor, went to the reseñe and took the girls to shore in their boat. The men were left cliugiug to their boat, in which graceful position the ïiierry plcuiokers snapped their kodaks at them and "guyed" them unmercifully. Fiually Fred Davis, of this city, took a ooat and rescued the men from their position. - '
