Herbeit Len Cope, of Albion college, carae here Friday to attend the Alninni reuniOD. The junior league of the M. E. church had a piooio in Sohmid's grove Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Field, of Tecumseh, caroe here for the Alarnni reunión Friday eveuing. Prof. Thos. Moran, of Pnrdne üniversity, Fayette, Iud., is visiting with his pareuts. His mother has been quite sick. The graduatiou exeroises last Thursday evening of the olass of '97 were good and largely attenrled. The music by the Mozart Quartet, of Saline, was enjoyed by all. The Sist annual renaiou of the alumni assooiation of the Manchester high sobool was held in Arbeiter hall last Friday eveniDg witb an interesting program, which consisted of an essay "Literal Arts," by Annette Kingsley; poem, "Mother," H. L. Cope; oration, "Cuba," Rutherford Yokoru ; history, Mrs. John Tracey. A mixed quartet from the Normal conseivatory at ïpsilanti sang. At the close of the exërcises a fine banqnet was held at the Freeiaan house, after which the following responded to toasts: Fred Field, Sidney Case, Miss Marie Kirchbofer, Fred H. Blosser, Miss Helen Carpenter, Prof. Moran and Prof. Essery.
