The Ladies'Aid Society gave astrawberry social at W. P. Elliott's last Tuesday eveuing. George Jedele, who had the misfortoue to break his leg, about five weeks ago, is now able to sit up. Miss Olive Day gradnated from the Ypsilanti high school last week. Suocess to you, Olive, iu all undertakiugs. Dwigbt Crittenden's team ran away with hhn recently. No damage was done with the exceptiou of the bnggy being somewhat broken. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Hinokley gave a delightfal croquet party to several of their yonng friends one evening last week. loe cream and cake were served. C. G. Sherwood and V. C. Nichols spent a couple of daysat Horeshoe Lake fishiiig last week and like all other fishermen, "gave away all the large tièh." Last Snnday Children's Day exercises wereheld attbePittsfield Union Sunday school. The house was filled and soroe people were ebliged to stand outside, 188 were in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. N. Carpenter, Mr. ani Mrs. C. W. Rose, Messrs. Will and Jake Bohnet, Miss Leolyn Nichols aud Miss Julia Chalmers, attended the K. O. T. M. barquet at Ann Arbor, Wednesday night of last week.
