Ellis, pastor of the Washington Avenue Baptist church, Brooklyn, died suddenly of apoplexy Monday nig-ht at the Brooklyn Tabernacle Baptist church, he was attending the ordination services of Rev. James Bristow, who is about to become pastor of the Rosedale church at Camden. N. 3.
