The schedules showing the liabilities and assets of the firro of C. J. Chaudler & Co., of this place, wbo made an assignmeut to Oeorge Kerupf, assignee, ior the beuefit of creditors, were competed Friday eveuing. Tbe liabilities ara $43,209 owing rnostly to bauks and bankers. Tbe assets figure np at $19,292.60, which consists of buildings in Chelsea and. contents, eggs, money in different banks and accounts. Tbe appraisement of the assets has uot been made, but probably the aruonnt realized on the sale of the property, etc, will reach this figure. The firm bas beeu doing an extensiva business in tbe buying and selling'of eggs and produce, buying in the west and shipping easr. Mr. Chandler is the president of the Egg Dealers' Association, wbich was formed some time ago, and was thoroughly posted in this line of business, but the flrm has been losing money for some time on aoooant of the sudden changes in tbe egg market.
