Endeavorers At San Francisco

San Francisco, July 6.- AU is now in readiness for the great Christian Endeavor convention. Araong the Endeavorers who have come across the sea to attend the convention is Miss E. J. Newton of Poo Chcnv, the representative of the Endeavor societies in China. With her is Miss Carmo Hostetter, who has come all the way from Tokyo to be in attendance at the convention. Miss Newton has brought with her a silken banner to be presented to the Christian Endeavor society that donated the largest sum of money to foreign missions. It is the gift of the Foo Chow Christian Endeavor union, whose greetings to the society were forwarded to General Secretary Baer by the Muk, before it was decided to send a delegation. One of the most mterestlng features at the Meehanics' pavilion wi'll be the reproduction of an early California mission, which will constitute the headquarters of the Missionary Extensión society, under.the direction of Miss M. L. Berry, state superintendent of missions for the Christian Endeavor union.
