Waukesha, Wis., July 6. - James Butler, a farmer .of Lisbon, came home in an intoxicated condition. In a quarrel with his wife. he seized an ax and almost hacked her to pieces. Shortly after the quarrel Mrs. Butler was discovered by two of her children and died soon after their arrival. Butler escaped and is still at large, but his capture is looked for soon.
