Mrs. Alioe Wocdbridge went to City Clerk Mills' house Monday evening at 6 o'clock to see him on a matter of business. She was aecornpanied by a black cooker spaniel. Mr. Mills' little two years old daughter saw the dog and childlike went to play witb it when the vioious little cur sprang up and bit the cihld aoross the nose and on the cheek rnaking the blood flow in a stream. The dog is not licensed and is lawful prey for Dog Catcher Blackbnrn, wbo should shoot it on sight, as such dogs are not fit to be allowed to go about the streets where children are at all times playing around, espeoially as was the case with tbis spaniel, as its owner admits that it is cross and snappish with children.
