Pupils' Recital And Concert
Prof. J. F. Scbaeberle gave his first pupils' recital and ccmcert in the musio hall over his store on W. Liberty st., Saturday evening, and a large audienoe gatbered to listen to it. Mr. -Scbaeberle was assisted by Mr. Frank Mclntyre who sang Pinsuti's "I Fear No Foe, " in excellent voice. Other meritorions numbers were Godard's Second Maznrka on the piano by Miss Marie Schaeberle, "La Carnival de Venios" a violin solo by Prof. J. F. Scbaeberle, and the "Children's Symphony, " in which Elsa Haller spoke the prologue and the following took the other parts: Owl and quail, Frida Haller; cuckoo, Katherine Sohaebeile; nightingaie, Fred Schaeberle; drum, Edwin Noli; trutnpet, Lorena Rettich and Rupert Koch; rattle, Williarn Limbert; violins, J. F. Schaeberle and Geo. Washburn ; piano, Miss Marie J. Schaeberle. The piece made a decided 1 bit and was well received. The other nnruber, on the program were also well executed and when the audience dispersed for home it was with the unaniinons opiniĆ³n that it had been a pleasant evening well spent.
