The Ypsilanti JJriving Club is no more an has had to succuinb to the inevitable result that falls to the lot of any institution that gives a good race meet and good purses to the owners of horses who ooutest in it, and is poorly patronized by the public. As a consequenoe the race meet that was talked of for this year will not be held. The resnlt above spoken of was reached at at a meeting of the members of the clnb aeld Saturday night. The Washtenaw Evening Times had thefollowing.introduction to its artiole in Monday nigbt's paper : "Died - At its home in Ypsilanti, on Saturday night the Ypsilanti Driving Club - af ter long sufferings from hemorrhages of the pooket books of its members, which proved the immediate canse of the demise. The deceased was very popular among a certain class n this vicinity and had even gained such proiuiaence that sermpns had been preached on (or against) it in at least one of the chnrohes of the city. The nneral services have not yet been decided upon, bnt wil! probably be held when the members of the clnb whack np some $1,200 or $1 300 back rent to Ion. Samuel Post and fight over the 14 assets in the streasury. "
