A decisiĆ³n of interest to wheelmeu has been made by the supreme conrt. James O. Moren reoovered damages agamst the Detroit & Erie Plank Road Co., for preventing him from riding a bicycle upon its road without the payment of toll. The supreme court holds that there is nothing in the statnte to authorize the company to oharge toll against pedestrians or persons propelling wheel barrow6, oarts or baby carriages. The oonrt tbinks tbat a distinction may be made between vehicles propelled by men and those depending upon animal or motor power for propulsiĆ³n. The f ormer class, it is held, cannot be reqcired to pay toll npon the plank roads of this state.
