John S. Mann, a farmer of Ann Arbor town, just north of the city, hired two brothers named Albert and Benjamin Shellhorn to harvest a field of hay for birn. Mana and the Shellhorns got into au alteroaton over the matter which fioally resulted in a fight in which Mann was badly pounded about the faoe. He then broke away from his assailants and having secured a revolver, it is alleged he fired several shots at the Shellhorns. The matter will be investigated in .lustice Duffy's court on Monday, as Mann has sworn out warrants agaiusi tbe Shellborns, who have given bail for their appearance on that day.
