Many Divorce Suits
Bills for divorce are coming ju and being filed in tbe circuit court pretty fast these days aud there bids fair to be a laíge erop of these chancery cases at the fall term of court. Two more have been added to the list the past week. Oa Friday Mis. Maria Brazee, of Ypsilanti, filed a bilí for divorce frorn Henry Brazee, to whoin she was rnarried Dec. 21, 1860. and by whom she has seven ohildren. In her statement she says she was ooiupelled to leave him Dec. 9, 1895, because of his oontinued ill-treatment of her. She avers that he threw her out of doors, oalled her vile names and tried to drown one of the children, Mrs. Belle Burnham, of Saline, sues Tames Burnham, a printer, for divorce, on the gronnd of desertion. The couple were married Peb. 26, 1893, and have one child three years old. Burnham deserted his wife just one year after tbey were married and has not sinue contributed to her support. He lives somewhere in Ohio.
