Under The County's Protection

Fairmont, W. Va., July 27. - At WatBon Tuesday locks were put on all the gates and deputies called for, which makes every mine in the county under the county's protection. This is done by the operators so the county will be responsible if any of their property is burned. At Beechwood, Hites, Monongah, West Fairmont and New England, men went in Tuesday, and from all appearances no more men will join the strike.
