On Tuesday Connty Clerk Schnh re-ceived a remitter from the snpreme oonrt in the case of James Linnen vs. Paris Banfield, John V. Sheehan and David Collius, reversing and vacating the judgmeut of the court below, and remanding the case for a new trial. At tbe time the case was tried Jadge Kinne took tbe oase from the jury and ordered a verdioĆ­ in favor of the defendants. The case arose ont of the arrest of James Linnen for tbe burglary of Jobn V. Sheehan 's store. Afterwards the persons who stole the goods were arrested in Detroit and the goods found in their possession. Linnen tben brongbt snit for damages for false imprisonment.
