Oliver Optic's Will

There were no public bequests in the will of William T. Adams (Oliver Op tic). It was very brief and was written in the author's owii hand, under date of April 21, 1885. "As a simple token of my high esteem and regard, to my sonsin-law, Sol Smith Russell and George W. White, I give $1,000 each. " All the remainder of his estáte, inclnding his copyrights and other literary property, he beqneaths to his daughter, Mrs. Alice Adams Rnssell, the wife of Sol Smith EusselL
