There is to be a new Germán Evangelical ohurch organizad in Detroit, and it is probable tbat Rev. J. G. Hildner, wbo resigned recently the pastorate of St. Panl's chnch becanseof a strife that had been waged between members of the chuch for eomeraonths, will beooine the pastor. Tbe nuoleus of themembership of the new organizatiou will consist of dissatisfied persous who nntil recently have been members of St. Panl's chnrch. Por the present, meetings will be held in the Chnrch of tho Good Sbepherd on Vinewuod ave., whioh has stood idle for some time past, but bas been renovated recently for the nse of the new congregation. The first meeting was held Suuday evening, when an organization was effected. Since Rev. Mr. Hildner resigned many of his former adherents have withdrawn from St. Paul's chnrch, until the number has reached about 35 families, beside a number of pew-bolders not members of the church. The Yoang People's Society of Christian Endeavor, numbering about GO members has withdrawn fiom the chnroh also and will join with the new congiegation. A meeting of tbe Christian Endeav:v Society was held in the Church of the Good Shepberd Sunday afternoon. It bas not been definitely decided whether the Church of the Good Snepherd will be used permanently as a meeting place and there is a plan on foot to build a new chnrch on the boulevard. However, until the organization is fully perfected nothing deflnite in tbis respect will be decided. The Church of the Good Shepherd is not used and it is probable that it can be secured as long as desired, thoogh it is not ir the best possible condition. St. Panl's chucrh has not decided on a new pastor.
