Pittsburg, Aug. 10.- There is a growing feeling of apprehension among coal operators that the prolonging of the strike for a few more weeks will prove bad for the lake shippers. It is citec that when the miners will have returnec to work theie will be such a demanc for coal for lake shipments that cara will not be obtainable to rush it through for shipment before lake insurance rates advanee, which occurs near the time for rough weather on the lakes and greater risks of cargoes. At present lake freigh' rates are low and vessels are moored at all the shipping points waiting for carKoes up.
