The new standard postal card will be a trifle smaller than the oard now in nse, so that it can be inclosed in bnsi ness envelopes of ordinary size. The new library oards will be issued in reponse to the general demand of librarans for a card suitable for indexing by card catalogue. Two hundred and ifty million of these cards will be provided for, and 1,800,000,000 of the tandard cards.
