Lonis Trolz has been quite ill reoently- A. C. Dixon is visiting relativas at Onsted. Miss Minnie Gieske is visiting at Wm. Trolz's. Miss Anna Uphaus visited at M. A. Pieroe:s on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Trolz spent Snnday in Bridgewater. E. W. Orafts and family are enjoying a vacation at Bay View. Atrs. Charles Pardee and son Ployd visited at Wolf Lake last week. A party of Sharon yonng people are spending the week at Wolf Lake. Joseph Lamb will teach the winter term of school in the Nichols distriot. Mr. and Mrs. Will Ahrens, of Iron Creek, visited friends in town recently. Threshing is in progress and a good yield cf wheat is reported by tne farmers. Herbert Deweyhas aooepted the position of collecting agent for the Deering Harvester Co. Miss Florine Kenau commences her third year of school in the Hogers' Corner district in Freedom on Monday. The Misses Louise and Bernardina Uphaus, of Ana Arbor, are visiting thei parents and calling upon friends in town. Mrs. Frank Spafard and daughter Myra, and Mrs. Fred Spafard and childien called on friends here on Thursday. E. M. Pierce and family accompanied by A. C. Dixon and Miss Anna Kuhl spent Friday and Saturday at Wolf Lake as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Bullard. A party of Sharonites, including Mr. and Mrs. Josiah Sloat, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smitn, Air. and Mrs. D. M. Bnrcb, Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Fellows and Mr. and Mts. Wm. R. Mount, spent last week at Wolf Lake.
