Death Of Michael J. Howard

Micbael 3. Howard, a former resident of Washtenaw oounty,. died in Jacksou, JMonday, after a long illness. The funeral services vere held in Jacksou Tuesday and the remains were bronght to Ann Arbor on the 11 :05 a. ra. train aud were taken to St. Patriok's ceruetery, Northfield, where they were placed in tbe family burial lot beside those of his wife. Mr. Howard was well known in Ann Arbor and had many friends bere. He was a sou-in-law of Airs. Katberine Herey, of Spring st. Bom in tbe township of Webster, be was educated in the district sohool and the Normal school, Ypsilanti, afterwards locatingin Superior township on a farm. He represented bis towu for years as supervisor, justice of the peace and commissioner of roads. Four years ago he removed to JacksoD where be had a prosperous business. He leaves three daughters and three brothers.
