At a meeting of the executive committee of the Ann Arbor Cyole Club held on JVIonday afternoon F. T. JSlcOrnber, treasnrer of the bicyole path cornruittee, made his report. It sbowed that 371 people had oontribated to the fund iu sums ranging from 25 cents to $25 and that the total amonnt collected was $771.25. Of tbis there is a balance on band of $5.7.3 There is, however, .$91.75 which bas been snbscribed and is nncollected, most of which is good. It is greatly needed to do some uecessary work on the path at the present time. Ifc is said there are 2,200 wheelmeu in the city and the treasurers' report shows tbatjust one-sixth of them have contributed to the path, altbough it is probable that fully oae-half of thein make use of ifc. This is not as it shonld be. Improveinents, even bicycle paths, need ruoney tokeep them iu good shape, and tbose who use the path shonld be honest euough to help snppurt it.
