Hanging In West Virginia

Fayettsville, W. Va., Aug. 24.- Jerry Brown was hanged at 2:42 p. m. Tuesday for assault committed on Mrs. Radford last February. Two thousand people witnessed the execution. Brown's neck was not broken and he died amidst groans and struggles.
