The disappointment over the testimony of the two doctors who held the post mortem examination on the body oí George Beckwitb, fonnd in the Hurón river on Wednesday of last week, was being commemed on by a gang of conrt house loungers yesterday, when one of them said : "lam not astonisbed at all. I have yet to hear the flrst positivo testimony ever given by a physician in a murder case. They all gwear that they think or believe snoh and soch things to be so, but never that they are so. Washtenaw connty paid a doctor $500 once to analyze some blood to asoertain if it was human or animal blood. That was in the Hand casa, yon remember. Well, the Dr. analyzed it, but after he got throngh ie wonld not swear that it was human blood. He simply swore that he thonght it was. He might. be mistaken. Oh, these doctors are a cautions lot. Yon will have mighty hard work pinning them down to a positiva statement aboot anything." "Perhaps that's why they are so successfnl in politics, when they enter it, " remarked another. -
